IMK Architects wanted to represent today’s applied science industry through transparent spaces in the design of buildings. Each façade of the buildings maintain the architectural identity while being their own distinctive elements.

The campus buildings are designed along a pedestrian spine creating smaller courts between two buildings which opens onto the main spine. This creates an hierarchy in interaction spaces making it interesting, Creating a distinct identity to each of the courts and entrances to the building.

The huge complex encompasses many faculty building with spacious and airy lecture rooms, laboratories, and a library A separate auditorium with welcoming spaces merging with the courtyard of the canteen

The main workshop building was an iconic building with curvilinear roof which creates an identity for the Symbiosis institute.

Each hostel is designed with single loaded corridors, for cross ventilation. The corridors open into social halls. Care was taken to avoid any negative spaces and promote safety.
