The guiding principles of efficiency, sustainability & people centric design launched IMK Architects in 1960 and are still at the heart of our work.
As a socially responsible firm we not only ensure sustainable, environment conscious architecture but also seek to employ design to benefit the disadvantaged sections of society. Under the Kadri banner we undertake a number of charitable and volunteer projects with a vision to support & strengthen communities.
Our initiatives are aimed at improving the quality of schools and hospitals for underprivileged women and children in addition to strengthening nutrition programmes, vocational training and increasing the number of “balwadis” across the country.
Organizations We Support
Kadri Foundation
Kadri Foundation

Under the Kadri Foundation, a non-profit trust, we run the Rah-e-Khair Girls High School in Ahmedabad. Initially the school was located in a few spare rooms of the Kadri family home “Diwan’s Bungalow”.

The Kadri Foundation then bought a 100-year-old building in the vicinity and remodeled it. It is now a school with all the facilities necessary for the delivery of a modern day education. Today the school proudly educates 1300 girls from kindergarten to high school.

Save The Children India
Save The Children India

Save the Children India, a Mumbai based NGO, was founded by the late Mrs Vipula Kadri in 1988. We are proud to have received the Best NGO Award by the Resource Alliance and backed by the Rockfeller Foundation in 2011.

The Save the Children India Head Office & Special Care Centre School in Mumbai is just another example of our commitment to responsible architecture as it sensitively caters to the needs of the hearing impaired and mentally challenged.
